holly hubbell
fight + intimacy direction
Holly is a graduate of the performing arts school at SCAD, is the fight and intimacy choreographer for the production. Hubbell, who directed and choreographed a workshop of Smoke with Bird in 2020, has a personal connection with the story which is palpable in her visceral and eerily real choreography. Hubbell began her training in 2009 under Martin Noyes and later taught along side him. Hubbell is certified in various weapons such as firearms, rapier & dagger, broadsword & shield. She is an advocate of creating a safe work environment for all the talent and crew involved while still pushing the boundaries of choreography in a physical and psychological way.
